Purpose of This Document<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This document defines <strong>how media (primarily video) is received, named, organized, and prepared<\/strong> within MinistryCentral Europe.<\/p>\n<p>It exists to ensure that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Media assets are easy to locate<\/li>\n<li>Courses remain maintainable over time<\/li>\n<li>Editors and coordinators can work efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Platform performance and reliability are preserved<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This document applies to <strong>intake and organization<\/strong>, not editing or publication.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>2. Scope of Media Covered<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>These standards apply to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Course teaching videos<\/li>\n<li>Instructional or training videos<\/li>\n<li>Supporting video material<\/li>\n<li>Audio recordings (where applicable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They do <strong>not<\/strong> apply to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marketing media<\/li>\n<li>Public-facing promotional content<\/li>\n<li>One-off communications not retained long-term<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>3. Canonical Intake Flow (Overview)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Instructor submits media (or recording)<\/li>\n<li>Instructor Coordinator receives and validates<\/li>\n<li>Media \/ Video Contributor processes and uploads<\/li>\n<li>Media is organized and named in Vimeo<\/li>\n<li>Coordinators and Editors reference media as needed<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Instructors never upload media directly to platforms.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>4. Accepted Media Formats<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Video<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>MP4 (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>MOV (acceptable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Audio<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>MP3 (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>WAV (acceptable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Unusual formats should be converted before intake.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>5. Versioning Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Avoid version numbers in filenames unless necessary<\/li>\n<li>Revisions replace prior versions unless otherwise noted<\/li>\n<li>Deprecated media should be flagged, not deleted immediately<\/li>\n<li>Canonical references must always point to the correct version<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>7. Organizational Standards (Vimeo)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Media should be organized by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Course<\/li>\n<li>Section (if applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Lesson<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Playlists or folders should mirror course structure.<\/p>\n<p>Ad-hoc or personal organization is not permitted.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>8. Quality Control (Intake Check)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Before media is accepted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Audio is clear and intelligible<\/li>\n<li>Video is stable and visible<\/li>\n<li>Content matches requested scope<\/li>\n<li>No sensitive or unintended material is included<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Quality thresholds are reasonable, not perfectionist.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>9.
