Purpose of This Policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This policy defines <strong>how video is used, managed, and referenced<\/strong> within MinistryCentral Europe.<\/p>\n<p>It exists to ensure that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Video content is consistent and reliable<\/li>\n<li>Platforms remain stable and performant<\/li>\n<li>Instructors are not burdened with technical decisions<\/li>\n<li>Media usage aligns with documentation and course standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a <strong>policy document<\/strong>, not a technical tutorial.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>2. Role of Video in the System<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Video is used to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver teaching content<\/li>\n<li>Support documentation where visual explanation is helpful<\/li>\n<li>Communicate instructions or onboarding guidance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Video is <strong>not<\/strong> used for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Canonical authority<\/li>\n<li>Platform configuration explanations<\/li>\n<li>Replacing structured documentation where text is clearer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Text remains the primary carrier of authority.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>3. Approved Video Platforms<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Canonical Video Platform: Vimeo<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Vimeo is the <strong>primary and canonical hosting platform<\/strong> for instructional and course-related video.<\/p>\n<p>All course videos must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be uploaded to Vimeo<\/li>\n<li>Be embedded from Vimeo into platforms<\/li>\n<li>Follow established naming and organization standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Supplemental \/ Communication Video: Loom<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Loom is approved for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Short instructional clips<\/li>\n<li>Onboarding explanations<\/li>\n<li>Internal guidance<\/li>\n<li>Walkthroughs and demonstrations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Loom videos are <strong>supplemental<\/strong>, not canonical.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>4.
